Jakarta (Benchmark News) – Emphasizes the openness and competitiveness of the Indonesian economy as a drive wheel and an attraction for investors the world and not be able to offer other countries.

Enggartiasto added that Indonesia has a large consumer class posture, is estimated to reach 135 million consumers in 2030. In addition, the market opportunities in Indonesia reached 1.8 trillion US dollars (US) spread in the services sector, agriculture, fisheries, education, and other sectors.
In Indonesia Business Forum held in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China (PRC), Enggartiasto specifically describe the trade policies that encourage business opportunities in Indonesia in order to realize the priorities of President Joko Widodo on openness and competitiveness.
Additionally, Enggartiasto added, in less than 12 months, the government has launched 13 package of deregulation and de-bureaucratization to reduce rules that may hinder the development of industry and business in Indonesia.
Enggartiasto also explained Indonesia’s active participation in international trade negotiations. It shows the commitment of Indonesia to pursue the development of the global economy.
In addition, participation in international negotiations an effort to push the reform agenda at the national level is an opportunity for farmers, fishermen, youth and entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises to improve their welfare.
Indonesia Business Forum organized by the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), in collaboration with China Fortune Land Development (CFLD) International, the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, and the Indonesian Consulate General in Shanghai.
More than a thousand leaders of private companies, state enterprises and business associations in China attended the forum.
The forum presents four major Cabinet Minister of Labour, Minister Coordinator of maritime Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartanto, and the Minister of Communications and Information Rudiantara.
Head of BKPM, Thomas Trikasih Lembong acted as moderator at the same chair at the event.
Indonesia Business Forum took advantage of the momentum of the Summit of G-20 in Hangzhou, China, which was held on 4 to 5 September 2016. In addition, the business forum is intended to maintain the trend of rising interest in Chinese investment into Indonesia. (Red).
